PMR AND NEW 2.5 VERSION OF GATEWAY DTMF
Im not sure if this is where this should be...I have connected to the server and seems to be fine..I also am wondering how many
now have the new client or gateway version of PMR (version 2.5) I downloaded it yesterday and found that if you download the gateway
you have to put a L- or R- next to your callsign ..I listed mine as KD0ETQ-L ..even if you have no link or repeater..it will not let you
enter your call without one of these (it will if you only download the client)...So I found that the audio is kind of tricky..I had to lower my microphone volume quite a bit and only let one or two green bars show up to have no distortion in audio...but after that is seems to work
fine..it takes up more space on the monitor that the 1. version did...So even if I am not going to use remote..I wanted to give it a try and wonder how many others did and if you have encountered any problems..There is the usual putting all your presets back in..but I did not have
any problem with that..unless what you want is not on the list..you will have to type in the numbers it needs (I had to do that for the 202.89.177.238 Australian server) since at that time it was not on the list..but it did show up a couple hours later..

Re: PMR Server On EQSO
I have just installed the new DTMF version of PMR gateway seems to be running fine, system monitor a little awkward at first but now ok, I have found that setting all the DTMF sliders just a little about eight of one inch above bottom works fine and I can move from my server to Russ's server with ease, unfortunatley you have to use -L or -R after your call a legacy from EQSO as this gateway is supposed to be used for links not PC operation, otherwise no complaints. You can download at www.pmr-radio.net
Phil you can put your comments anywhere you like my friend, don't worry about them being in the wrong place the forum users will find them.

eQSO PMR
Hi guys
Not sure where this should go, but here goes
I found a couple of shortcomeings with PMR 2.5 , like you can put the server in windows startup but you still have to click start, and a few others. long story short I ended up writing a manager for eQSOPMR. I have released it a freeware. hope it makes someones life easier
download from my web site (Home based server)
if its to slow try
cheers to all

I downloaded it all installed it on different windows XP Pro and Home machines ans I can only get the cliant to hey and pass audio through the gateway. If I key up with a H/T the gatewar sees the audio but will NOT key up the radio nor will it pass the RX audio to the cliant? Any of you experts have a fix? and what inter face are you using for a gateway connection? ou812@dirtydans.org
